The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition is seeking a Laboratory Technician. This position under direct supervision, performs difficult technical procedures and allied duties related to a function of a clinical, environmental, teaching or research laboratory; maintains laboratory area and equipment.

The department intends to hire one candidate from either Lab Tech I classification or Lab Tech II classification, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Please specific which classification you which to be considered or both in your application.
Percent of Time: 50%
Schedule:
Two-week rotating schedule with rotating weekends:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Hours: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Pay Grade: Lab Tech I - 06 Lab Tech II - 08
