Laboratory Technician- (Onshore)

ACTS Qatar is currently seeking 3 technicians with the following experience and qualifications;

• Collect representative samples such as gas, condensate, NGL, water, crude oil, drilling fluids, and cement from all field locations.
• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory and onsite analysis of crude oil, water, gas, solid/deposits, drilling fluids, and cement samples by using standard methods and procedures.
• Perform quality control program to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical results.
• Maintain all records related to the sampling process, analysis, and instrument maintenance.
• Prepare standard solution and reagents used for analysis.
• Operate laboratory instruments used for laboratory analysis.
• Process and document the analytical results for timely reporting.
• Inform the Laboratory In-charge about all materials required sufficiently in advance in the laboratory, such as chemicals and consumables, to ensure no analytical service interruptions.
• Perform routine safety inspection and take corrective and preventive action immediately.
• Comply with all requirements in the Quality Management System and participate in scheduled audits as required.
• Shall be competent, well-trained, and shall understand the technical requirements of the services.
• Shall be familiar with Oil & Gas laboratory safety.

Qualification: Minimum Diploma or B.S. in Chemistry

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Production Chemistry Laboratory is a must
