We’re now expanding our legal vertical and looking for a skilled advocate who can bring real-world expertise in labour and employment laws to support our clients across India.

Role Overview

As a Labour Law Consultant – Advocate, you’ll be responsible for advising and assisting clients on statutory labour law compliances, registrations, and filings. You’ll also be involved in drafting and reviewing HR-related legal documents, representing clients before authorities when required, and staying updated on the latest developments in employment law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle client compliances related to ESI, PF, Shops & Establishment Act, Professional Tax, and other applicable labour laws.
  • Prepare, review, and draft employee-related documents such as appointment letters, HR policies, NDAs, consultancy agreements, and other contracts.
  • Manage labour registrations, renewals, and periodic filings for client companies.
  • Advise clients on statutory changes, risk mitigation, and policy updates.
  • Represent clients before relevant authorities as and when required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all deliverables are completed within timelines.
  • Maintain documentation, compliance trackers, and reports for assigned clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • LL.B degree from a recognized university.
  • 3–4 years of practical experience in labour law compliance and advisory work.
  • Strong knowledge of ESI, PF, Shops & Establishment, Professional Tax, and labour-related statutes.
  • Good drafting and documentation skills for HR and legal agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Traits

  • Prior experience working with Law Firms or Consultancy Firms engaged in labour law, HR compliance, or statutory advisory.
  • Proactive in interpreting new labour codes, amendments, and government notifications.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and client-focused approach.

Compensation

Competitive and commensurate with experience.
