Labour Room Nursing Incharge – Female Only

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursing In charge to lead our Labour Room team in the Obs & Gynecology department. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, highly skilled in maternity and neonatal care, and capable of managing both staff and patients with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and manage all nursing staff in the labour room.

· Ensure safe and effective patient care for mothers and new-borns.

· Assist gynaecologists and obstetricians during deliveries and procedures.

· Maintain labour room equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.

· Prepare duty rosters and manage shift schedules.

· Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior nurses.

· Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards.

Requirements:

· Diploma/BScN in Nursing (valid PNC registration required).

· Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Obs & Gynaecology (labour room).

· Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

· Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
