Key Responsibilities
- Measure land features such as depth, elevation, contours, and shape using established reference points and surveying equipment
- Conduct boundary surveys to accurately determine property lines and land divisions
- Research, review, and verify previous land records, deeds, maps, and survey data for accuracy and compliance
- Design and implement effective surveying methods and procedures based on project requirements
- Prepare detailed maps, plats, and land reports, and present findings to clients, contractors, developers, or other stakeholders
- Create, maintain, and log accurate records of survey results and field data
- Assess land suitability for proposed construction, development, or infrastructure projects and provide professional recommendations
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Provide guidance, training, and technical support to junior surveyors, estimators, and field staff
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and other modern surveying equipment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical clients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field.
