1. Survey Planning & Preparation

  • Study project drawings, site layouts, and specifications before commencing work.
  • Plan and organize the survey schedule as per site requirements.
  • Ensure all survey equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.) are calibrated and in proper working condition.

2. Site Survey Execution

  • Conduct precise land and building layout surveys using Total Station.
  • Mark reference points, levels, and benchmarks on site accurately.
  • Perform topographical, boundary, and contour surveys as required.
  • Ensure all coordinates, levels, and measurements are recorded correctly.

3. Layout & Setting Out

  • Set out grid lines, foundation points, column locations, and structural alignments as per approved drawings.
  • Cross-check and verify layout accuracy before work execution.
  • Coordinate with the project engineer and site team to ensure layout matches design drawings.

4. Data Recording & Documentation

  • Maintain proper field records of all survey data and site levels.
  • Prepare survey reports, level sheets, and coordinate lists for documentation.
  • Transfer survey data from Total Station to AutoCAD or other software for plotting.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and site supervisors for layout clarifications.
  • Communicate any discrepancies between site conditions and drawings to the concerned team immediately.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

6. Quality & Safety

  • Ensure accuracy in every survey measurement to prevent construction errors.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working on site.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain survey instruments to avoid equipment-related errors.

7. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support site engineers in checking levels during excavation, foundation, and slab works.
  • Conduct re-surveys if design changes occur during construction.
  • Train junior survey assistants in total station operation and fieldwork techniques.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
