The Land Surveyor sets the points per the shop drawings while following the required standards and project requirements. Key responsibilities include verifying all as-constructed work is complaint with shop drawings. Tunneling Background is a must
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out the point, using agreed survey equipment (GPS and TOTAL STATION), per the shop drawings approval
- Survey all the work done, using agreed survey equipment (GPS and TOTAL STATION), and verify the work is matching with shop drawings
- Arrange the data sheet to attach with the inspection request
- Survey all the existing utilities to verify clashing
- Download all the data from site
- Ensure all the TBM are safe including checking all the TBM before starting any job
- Establish internal points between the TBM to eliminate potential errors
- Experience in GPS work
- Coordinate with the consultant (s) to get the inspection approved
- Coordinate with the site engineer and foreman on site
- Perform other duties as required
