Landscape Architect

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to design, plan, and oversee the development of outdoor spaces for residential, commercial, and public projects. The ideal candidate will combine artistic vision with technical expertise to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes that meet client needs and comply with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop landscape designs, master plans, and detailed site layouts.
• Prepare concept presentations, sketches, and 3D visualizations for clients.
• Integrate elements such as plants, paving, water features, lighting, and outdoor structures into designs.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Review technical drawings and coordinate with civil engineers and contractors.
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Conduct site surveys and analyses (soil, drainage, topography, climate).
• Oversee implementation of landscape works to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Inspect materials, monitor quality, and resolve site issues.
• Meet with clients to understand requirements and present design proposals.
• Coordinate with local authorities for permits and approvals.
• Provide recommendations on sustainability, maintenance, and cost efficiency.
• Apply sustainable and low-impact design solutions (stormwater management, native planting, renewable materials).
• Stay updated with latest trends in urban design, green architecture, and smart landscapes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Professional certification or license in landscape architecture (required in many countries).
• 3-6 years experience in landscape design, site planning, or urban development projects.
• Experience with sustainable and ecological design practices is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of design principles, horticulture, irrigation, grading, and site planning.
• Familiarity with local planning regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.

Key Skills:

• Creativity and innovation in developing landscape concepts that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion, including timelines and budgets.
• Strong verbal and written communication for presenting designs to clients, stakeholders, and authorities.
• Ability to balance environmental, aesthetic, and functional requirements.
• Work effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients.
• Precision in drawings, specifications, and site execution.
