PTWL is looking for a Landscape Civil Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

• Responsible for execution, documentation, procurement and administration of all aspects of soft landscaping & Irrigation projects.
• Understanding fully the requirements of the project including drawings, specifications, documentation, budget costs of materials, resources, typical productive outputs etc.
• Assisting the project manager in preparing program of works, Manpower resources plan and procurement plan for execution of works.
• Ensuring approval of Shop drawings, Material submittal and program of works required for the project prior to procurement.
• Raising material requisitions with detailed specifications clearly indicating Client specified material/ supplier and follow up with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
• Checking all material deliveries for quality control and approval of delivery notes.
• Coordination for collection of necessary data from the supplier for material submittals.
• Review and timely submittal of Shop drawings as per work program and also follow up for approval of the same with the Main Contractor / Engineer.
• Liaising with Site Surveyors for survey of existing services, prior to commencement of construction activities.
• Liaising with Main Contractor/ Engineer in day-to-day site activities and resolving any technical issues.
• Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with specifications and within the timelines and cost constraints. Engineer to liaise with project QS for tracking cost.
• Raising Work Inspection Requests for completed landscaping works and liaising with Main Contractor/ Engineer for necessary approvals as per Contract Specifications / Project plan.
• Planning and liaising with Project Manager for requirement of materials, resources and timely delivery at site.
• Monitoring of plant, labour and material allocations and advising Project Manager of any future potential problems.
• Highlighting to Project Manager and Sr. Quantity Surveyor any potential variations or additional works.
• Submission of RFIs, RFCs, as necessary during the course of the project and following up for approval of the same.
• Providing site management, organizational support skills and promoting teamwork to achieve targets.
• Coordinating with Safety personnel for fulfilling safety requirements throughout the project and encouraging / promoting and maintaining safe site working practices with work team.
• Ensuring that procedures, Control plans, Work instructions are followed and also proper records are maintained.
• Assisting the Project Manager in timely completion of works and handing over of the project
• Facilitating the PM to obtain TOC for completed projects.

Requirement:

• Proven work experience as a Landscaping companies or similar role.
• Proven work experience on Hardscaping works and swimming pools is a must.
• Familiarity with project management
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
• Proficient typing and editing skills
• Data organization skills
• Attention to detail
• BSc degree or relevant field
