Role Summary
Parsons Corporation is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its Dubai team, responsible for coordinating landscape design and supervision of both hard and soft landscaping works for major land and community development projects. The role requires extensive experience in managing design, reviewing contractor submissions, and ensuring compliance with regional standards and specifications.

What You ll Do

* Coordinate the design and resolve site-related issues concerning hard and soft landscaping
* Lead, manage, and coordinate activities across landscape planning and design projects, including consultants and multidisciplinary teams
* Develop proposals aligned with client requirements and liaise with designers for design development
* Review and approve contractors submissions including shop drawings, material proposals, and technical documents
* Conduct contractor/subcontractor prequalification reviews and provide recommendations to clients
* Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance and quality of works delivered
* Select plants/trees suitable for the region before site delivery
* Apply detailed knowledge of plant species, irrigation standards, and planting requirements for different environments
* Ensure irrigation systems meet required specifications and standards
* Provide technical guidance to staff and ensure compliance with authority regulations
* Perform additional responsibilities associated with landscape projects as required

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Architecture
* Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape architecture design and construction supervision for land and community development projects
* Demonstrated ability to integrate design with constructability requirements
* Professional registration preferred
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
* Strong knowledge of industry practices, local authority requirements, and applicable regulations
* Proficient with engineering and design software relevant to landscape and irrigation works
