Landscape Assistant Maintenance Manager

Are you a seasoned pro with commercial landscape maintenance experience who is ready to step up into a leadership role? We're looking for a motivated Landscape Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team and become a key player in our field operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll get to lead from the front, mentor crews, and help us deliver top-notch service to our commercial clients.

What You'll Be Doing:
This isn't a desk job. You'll be the right hand to our Landscape Ops Manager, working directly with our crews on commercial properties to ensure consistent success. Every day will be different, but your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and Mentoring: Work side-by-side with crews in the field to train, guide, and motivate them to achieve their best on commercial sites.
• Planning and Execution: Help prep materials, plan job sites, and create schedules to keep projects running efficiently on large-scale properties.
• On-the-Spot Problem Solving: Be the go-to person for crews, addressing day-to-day challenges and ensuring they have what they need to stay safe and on track.
• Client Satisfaction: Play a vital role in keeping our commercial customers happy by responding to their needs and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Who We're Looking For:
We want a natural leader with a passion for landscaping and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in commercial landscape maintenance. This is a must-have for this role.
• A minimum of a two-year degree in a green industry field (like horticulture, landscape design, or turf management) or equivalent experience as a crew leader or apprentice.
• Experience with landscaping equipment like mowers and trimmers, and a willingness to jump in and assist your team when needed.
• A valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-focused mindset.
• A firm commitment to safety and the well-being of your team.
