Landscape - Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Landscape Civil Engineer with valid SOE (Society of Engineers – UAE) membership and a UAE Driving License. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing landscape and civil infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with local authority standards, project specifications, and HSE regulations.

The candidate must have strong site execution experience in landscape civil works including irrigation systems, drainage networks, and hardscape construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise landscape and civil works including:

1. Earthworks, excavation, and backfilling

2. Grading and leveling

3. Irrigation pipeline installation (HDPE/uPVC)

4. Drainage systems (stormwater lines, manholes, gullies)

5. Hardscape works (interlock, kerbstone, concrete works)

• Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with surveyors for setting out and level checks.
• Prepare and review, Shop drawings, As-built drawings, Method statements, Material submittals and BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.).
• Attend project meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all works comply with HSE and QA/QC standards.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage.
• Track project progress and report to Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve site challenges proactively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Valid SOE (Society of Engineers – UAE) Membership (Mandatory)
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in civil and landscape projects
• UAE experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of landscape civil works and infrastructure
• Experience in irrigation systems and drainage networks
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• AutoCAD proficiency (Mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of MS Project or Primavera (Preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
