Landscape Construction Crew Member (Hardscape Experience)

Job Overview
Willie C. & Sons Landscaping is seeking reliable and experienced Hardscape Laborers to join our team. This position supports the installation of outdoor living spaces such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features, while also assisting with landscape plantings and site finishing. During winter months, this role will transition to supporting our snow and ice management operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of hardscape projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and outdoor living spaces
• Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, base installation, and material layout
• Install pavers, natural stone, block, and other hardscape materials according to project plans
• Assist withlandscape planting, including trees, shrubs, and perennials as part of project installations
• Spread loam, mulch, and perform final site cleanup and detailing
• Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, saws, and other landscape construction equipment
• Load, transport, and organize materials and equipment at job sites
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Work closely with crew leaders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to quality standards
• Participate in winter snow removal operations, including shoveling, salting, and assisting with snow equipment during storm events
• Experience
• Prior hardscape, landscape construction, or masonry experience highly preferred
• Experience with planting trees, shrubs, and landscape bed preparation preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work outdoors
• Experience operating landscaping or construction equipment is a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work winter snow removal shifts during storm events

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
