Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise landscape construction crews, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate project schedules, materials procurement, and subcontractor activities to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Oversee the installation of features such as planting, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways.
  • Ensure all landscaping work aligns with design specifications, client expectations, and environmental best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and vendors to clarify project details and facilitate effective communication throughout the project.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, safety records, and maintenance plans for ongoing landscape care.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supervising landscape construction projects with a strong understanding of hardscaping techniques and horticulture principles.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including hardscape installations, irrigation systems, overseeing sub contractors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor environments such as planting, grading and managing subconstrators.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, resource management, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

  • Hardscape: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • MA Drivers License (Required)
  • DOT Card (Required)
  • MA Hoisting License (Required)
