Landscape Construction Manager

Position Summary

Apogee Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of landscape construction projects. This role is responsible for managing and working alongside crews, scheduling and coordinating materials and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee all phases of landscape construction projects from planning through completion

· Manage and supervise field crews, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards

· Coordinate project schedules, labor, equipment, and materials to meet deadlines and budgets

· Interpret landscape designs, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation

· Communicate regularly with clients, designers, and staff to provide project updates

· Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with company policies and regulations

· Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and design intent

· Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling and performance oversight

· Track project progress, costs, and labor hours; adjust plans as needed to stay on budget

· Troubleshoot on-site challenges and implement effective solutions in real time

· Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to build a skilled and reliable team

· Maintain proper documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and project reports

· Perform physical work to complete projects

Qualifications and Requirements

· 3–7+ years of landscape construction experience

· 2+ years in a supervisory or management role

· Strong knowledge of:

· Irrigation systems and drainage

· Hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls, concrete)

· Planting and soil preparation

· Building fences, decks and small structures

· Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

· Proven experience managing budgets and schedules

· Valid driver’s license (required)

· Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English (required)

· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

· Familiarity with sustainable landscaping practice

· Strong leadership and team management

· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

· Highly organized with attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
