Duties

• Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework using power tools and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of landscape designs.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to build durable outdoor structures.
• Install plantings, irrigation systems, lighting fixtures, and other landscape elements with attention to detail.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Use construction management software like Bluebeam for documentation and project tracking.
• Assist with demolition, restoration, and cleanup activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or landscaping projects is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating enhances your effectiveness on the job.
• Familiarity with various trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry and door hanging), masonry (including stucco and tile laying), plumbing, electrical work, roofing, welding, and concrete finishing is a plus.
• Experience with fabrication techniques for custom landscape features or structures is advantageous.
• Ability to perform detailed work such as caulking, plastering, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation, or masonry work demonstrates versatility.
