Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Landscape Maintenance Lead to oversee daily operations of a landscape crew. This role involves leading a team in maintaining residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of landscaping practices and the ability to train and motivate crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work alongside crew members in the maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs (mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, blowing, etc.).

• Organize and manage daily job schedules and route efficiency. • Ensure jobs are completed on time, to quality standards, and within safety guidelines.

• Perform site walkthroughs to assess quality and identify additional service opportunities.

• Communicate professionally with clients as needed on-site.

• Train new crew members and enforce company standards and safety procedures.

• Maintain and report the condition of tools, trucks, and equipment.

• Submit daily job reports, time tracking, and notes using company systems (paper or digital).

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of landscape maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

• Strong understanding of landscaping equipment and maintenance techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret job site plans and instructions.

• Good communication and leadership skills.

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
