Landscape Crew Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of 2 to 5 crew members
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging turf.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, planting, and removal as needed.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and safely.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Understanding of lawn care practices, including fertilization, weed control, and irrigation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential.
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
