Landscape Crew Member

Flag Landscaping is hiring full time crew members for the upcoming season for maintenance, landscape construction, and irrigation divisions.

Unlike many construction, painting, or landscaping companies we have been able to diversify our winter work with snow removal and holiday lighting to help keep employees steady during the slow months. We strive to create a work environment that stands out from the rest. We do company trips, regular social activities, community service, send employees to training outside of Flagstaff.

At Flag Landscaping, we hire for people not the position. Meaning we train and promote internally. Therefore experience is not critical, but instead a solid work ethic and positive attitude.

Requirements:

Need to have FULL TIME availability, driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Position Description:

The specialist position is responsible for developing basic day-to-day construction and maintenance skills under the direction of a crew lead/foreman to provide a high end service to our clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Receive instructions, ask questions, and properly execute a jobsite plan under direction of a crew lead/foreman.
• Interact and clearly communicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a timely manner.
• Practice and apply all safety policies and standard procedures to maintain a clean, safe, hazard free jobsite as required through Flag Landscaping safety manual and OSHA.
• Basic landscape tasks including, but not limited to: Paver installation, mowing lawns, gutter cleaning, building retaining walls, laying artificial grass and sod, raking pine needles/debris, weed control, hedging, minor irrigation, xeriscape, and softscape installation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
