Landscape Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design and be able to read and mark out commercial civil plans. This role involves collaborating with clients to develop innovative landscape designs as well as working directly with builders on contracts for commercial projects.

Duties

• Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and determine design feasibility.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Set up jobsite, crews and manage job until completion.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to plan and budget.
• Coordinate with contractors and other professionals involved in the construction process.

Requirements

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles and plant selection for various climates.
• Experience in project management within the landscaping or construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and landscape practices.
• Understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail in creating technical drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
