<Responsibilities>

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to develop comprehensive landscape design concepts that align with project goals and site conditions.
  • Create detailed drawings and visualizations using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Conduct site analysis utilizing GIS tools like ArcView and ArcGIS to assess land features, topography, soil conditions, and existing vegetation.
  • Prepare construction documents, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and grading plans that meet project specifications and local regulations.
  • Assist in project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, construction estimating, and coordinating with contractors during implementation phases.
  • Incorporate sustainable design principles by selecting eco-friendly materials, promoting water-efficient irrigation systems, and integrating native plantings.
  • Support land surveying activities and land surveying data interpretation to ensure precise site planning.

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience in landscape architecture or design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, GIS (ArcView/ArcGIS), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant selection, landscape maintenance, and sustainable landscaping techniques.
  • Familiarity with construction processes including construction estimating, hardscape installation, land surveying, irrigation systems, and civil engineering principles.
  • Strong drafting skills with attention to detail for creating accurate technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, contractors, and vendors.
