Landscape Designer and Foreman

Position Overview:

The Landscape Designer creates functional, attractive outdoor designs for residential and commercial clients. This role involves collaborating with clients, creating detailed plans, and supporting project installation through design guidance and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand project goals, site conditions, and budget
• Produce conceptual and detailed landscape plans using software (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, or similar)
• Select plant species and hardscape materials appropriate to site and climate
• Prepare design presentations, 3D renderings, plant lists, and installation documents
• Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to ensure design integrity
• Adjust designs based on client feedback and site conditions
• Provide cost estimates and assist with project proposals
• Stay current on design trends, materials, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Landscape Design, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in design software (CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Strong understanding of plants, irrigation, grading, and hardscape design
• Excellent communication and client-interaction skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong spatial visualization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
