We’re hiring an experienced Landscape Designer / Estimator to join our commercial landscaping division. This role combines creative landscape design with precise estimating and project coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Design functional, visually appealing, and cost-effective commercial and residential landscape projects
• Prepare accurate estimates, material take-offs, and labor projections
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical documents
• Create and submit professional bids for public and private-sector projects
• Collaborate with clients, property managers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and project planning sessions
• Oversee projects from concept to completion, with support from project managers and crew leaders
• Conduct jobsite walk-throughs during install and warranty phases
• Manage warranty claims, punch lists, and post-install service issues

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape design and estimating (commercial preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dynascape, or other landscape design software
• Strong understanding of hardscapes, planting design, irrigation, grading, and drainage
• Familiarity with bidding platforms and estimating software (e.g., LMN, Aspire, UVisions, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable with client-facing communication and managing expectations
• Proven ability to translate creative vision into real-world construction plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Experience managing multiple bids and projects simultaneously
• Working knowledge of public bid processes and documentation
• Ability to lead site meetings and communicate across teams
