Landscape Designer/ Landscape Architect

Job Overview
We are an award-winning installation company looking for a Team Player to Design Landscapes.. We are seeking a passionate and innovative Landscape Designer/ Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, sustainable, and functional environments. Your expertise will help clients realize their vision through creative design, technical precision, and project management skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from commercial landscapes to residential gardens and public spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed plans and visualizations..
  • Prepare construction documents including grading plans, planting schemes, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance strategies.
  • Estimate construction costs by preparing detailed construction estimating documents and collaborating with contractors during project bidding phases.
  • Oversee project implementation by collaborating with contractors on construction processes such as hardscape installation, planting, irrigation setup, and sustainable design practices.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to environmental standards and sustainable design principles while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Civil Engineering or related field..
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, GIS (ArcView/ArcGIS), Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite for drafting and visualization purposes.
  • Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant selection, landscaping techniques, land surveying, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance.
  • Familiarity with construction processes such as hardscape installation and construction estimating.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent drafting skills combined with a solid understanding of civil engineering principles relevant to landscape projects.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
