Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and functional. The Landscape Technician will work with various tools and equipment to perform groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, irrigation, tree care, and snow plowing during winter months.

Duties

• Perform general landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Conduct tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary.
• Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring they are well-kept and visually appealing.
• Execute snow plowing duties during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is essential.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscape design principles is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transporting equipment or traveling between job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
