Landscape Engineer

Job Objective:

To design, plan, and oversee the development of landscaped environments such as gardens, parks, public spaces, and private properties, ensuring aesthetic appeal, environmental sustainability, and functional efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop landscape designs, layouts, and working drawings using CAD and 3D modeling software.
• Conduct site analysis to assess soil quality, climate conditions, topography, and existing vegetation.
• Select appropriate plant species and landscaping materials based on site conditions and project requirements.
• Design efficient irrigation and drainage systems in line with environmental standards.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and technical specifications for landscaping projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and construction teams during project execution.
• Supervise on-site implementation to ensure quality control and adherence to approved designs.
• Monitor project timelines, report progress, and address any design or execution issues.
• Contribute to the development of landscape maintenance plans post-project completion.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of [2–5] years of experience in landscape design and implementation.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and irrigation systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and site plans.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in public landscape projects or urban development.
• Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and smart irrigation systems.
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
