Landscape Engineer

Job Summary:

· We are seeking an experienced Landscape Site Engineer to oversee and manage all on-site landscape construction activities. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in both Softscape and Hardscape works, including irrigation systems, swimming pools, water features, and planting bed construction, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all landscape construction activities on site.
• Execute and monitor Softscape works including trees, shrubs, ground covers, lawns, and seasonal planting.
• Supervise Hardscape works including interlock paving, natural stone, kerbs, concrete works, pathways, pergolas, fences, and site furniture.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation networks and irrigation systems, including pipelines, valves, controllers, pumps, drip irrigation, and sprinkler systems.
• Supervise the construction and finishing of swimming pools, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Manage the execution of water features, including fountains, waterfalls, streams, and decorative ponds.
• Supervise the construction of planting boxes and landscape planters, including waterproofing, drainage layers, soil preparation, and planting media.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure all works comply with project specifications and international standards.
• Identify site issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction projects.
• Proven experience in:
• Softscape works
• Hardscape works
• Irrigation networks and automatic irrigation systems
• Swimming pool construction
• Fountains and waterfalls
• Planting bed and planter construction
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong project coordination and site management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage).
• UAE driving license is Required.
