Landscape Estimator

Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Landscape Estimator in the Irving, TX area. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a fast-growing Residential landscaping company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost, materials, and labor for landscaping projects while collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Perform take-offs of materials, labor, and equipment required for landscaping installations
• Request and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes for pricing
• Collaborate with project managers and sales team to ensure bid accuracy and profitability
• Create and submit professional proposals and bid documents
• Track and manage bid deadlines and pre-construction requirements
• Assist in value engineering and project budgeting discussions
• Conduct site visits as needed to assess project scope and conditions
• Maintain an organized estimating database and historical cost records
• Follow up on bids submitted and provide feedback to management

Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape estimating or construction estimating
• Strong understanding of commercial landscaping services and materials
• Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and plan reading
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in take-offs and cost calculations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
• Positive attitude, team player mindset, and problem-solving approach
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
