Landscape Field Technician

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Support hardscape projects by installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor features
• Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate project progress effectively with team members

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles
• Experience with tree trimming, gardening, irrigation systems, snow plowing, and hardscape installation is highly desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction and landscaping projects
• Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate small machinery such as excavators is a plus
• Prior experience in landscaping or land management is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
