Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture activities to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards.
• Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, including construction, tree care, irrigation installation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and experience while providing clear instructions and support.
• Monitor work progress, inspect completed jobs for quality assurance, and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations to maintain a safe working environment for the team.
• Manage equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and supply inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and effective communication.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects.
• Strong background in lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or related fields with practical knowledge of plant health and landscape design.
• Experience with construction activities such as site preparation, installation, or hardscaping is preferred.
• Familiarity with tree care practices and irrigation systems installation or maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to landscaping equipment and construction sites.
