Temporary Summer Landscaping Position (April-September)

The City of College Park is seeking motivated individuals for a Temporary Summer Landscaping Position to support our landscaping crew during the busy spring and summer season. This position runs from April through September and offers an opportunity to work outdoors while helping maintain the City's parks, streetscapes, and public spaces.

Schedule:
Work hours are 6:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. or 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M., three to five days per week, depending on operational needs.

Pay:
$15.00 per hour (temporary position; no benefits provided).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pulling weeds and maintaining landscaped areas

• Assisting with cleanup following larger landscaping projects

• Supporting the landscaping crew with basic grounds maintenance tasks

• Performing other general landscaping duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and remain on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions

• Willingness to perform physically active work as part of a team
