Jennifer’s Garden is a family-owned business in Morris, and we take a lot of pride in creating a beautiful, welcoming property for our guests, couples, and community. We are currently looking for a part-time gardener for the summer season to help care for our flowers, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping things looking neat, healthy, and well cared for. This is a great fit for someone who likes hands-on work and wants to be part of a small team that truly values the appearance of our grounds.

What this role includes:

• Watering flower beds, containers, and landscaped areas
• Weeding, edging, and mulching garden beds
• Pruning, trimming, and deadheading flowers and plants
• Assisting with seasonal planting and general garden upkeep
• Helping keep entryways, walkways, and outdoor spaces neat and inviting
• Noticing and communicating any plant health or maintenance concerns
• Assisting with light outdoor cleanup and other seasonal property tasks as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Gardening, landscaping, greenhouse, or groundskeeping experience is preferred
• Someone dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done
• Ability to bend, kneel, lift, and work outdoors in summer weather
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Some weekend availability is helpful during busy event season

Schedule:

• Seasonal summer position
• Part-time hours
• Flexible daytime schedule
• Approximately 15–25 hours per week, depending on weather and seasonal needs

Pay:

• $18.00–$24.00 per hour
• Pay will depend on experience and ability to work independently
