Pay Range: Path To $100k A Year, Depending On Skill Set And Experience

Compensation Breakdown:

• Hourly Rate: $20-$36

- Apprentice- $20 per hour but only eligible to be an apprentice for 6 months and no bonus benefits.

- Crew member- $25 per hour plus bonus on jobs completed before budgeted hours and under budget

- Junior crew lead- $30 per hour plus bonus on jobs completed before budgeted hours and under budget

- Senior crew lead- $36 per hour plus bonus on jobs completed before budgeted hours and under budget

• Annual Range: $100k Career
• Performance Bonuses: Up to $25k depend on the crew performance,

Location: Vancouver, WA

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday-Thursday daytime hours for a balanced work-life schedule.

Requirements:

• English speaking, Fluently Bilingual preferred
• 5+ years of proven related experience in landscaping or hardscaping.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive with a trailer.
• Non-smoking environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience reading landscaping plans and designs.
• Paver installation and rock wall construction.
• Irrigation installation and backflow systems.
• Tree and shrub planting with plant identification.
• Experience with excavators, skid steers, and outdoor kitchens.
• Fence installation, carpentry for arbors, gazebos, and decks.
• Outdoor lighting, flagstone, concrete, and water features.

Position Summary:

As a Landscape & Hardscape Install Crew Lead at Simple Lawns, you’ll lead hands-on outdoor projects from start to finish while earning $20–$36 per hour based on experience, with a clear path to $100K+ annually, performance bonuses up to $25K per year, and peak-season earning potential of up to $50 per hour. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality installs, keeping crews productive, and ensuring each project reflects the company’s reputation for excellence across the Pacific Northwest.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project manager to review job sheets and design plans.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment safely.
• Transport materials and items to designated locations.
• Track materials received or distributed.
• Report to the project manager and ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites and production locations.
