Duties

• Install landscape features including trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators safely and efficiently to complete projects
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, and irrigation system installation or repair
• Conduct lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, seeding, and snow plowing during seasonal changes
• Assist with horticultural practices by planting, watering, mulching, and caring for plants to ensure healthy growth
• Maintain construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground surfaces, and ensuring safety standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, saws, and irrigation equipment safely
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and landscape design concepts
• Prior experience with excavation equipment like excavators is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscaping and construction

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
