Responsibilities

• Install various landscape features including hardscape elements such as, walkways, retaining walls, and water features with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and leveling using hand tools and power equipment like excavators.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery while ensuring proper planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Operate equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, irrigation systems to support year-round landscape maintenance.
• Assist with landscape construction projects by setting up irrigation systems and installing garden beds or other horticultural features.
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including fertilizing, watering, pest control, and seasonal cleanups to uphold quality standards.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and construction equipment including hand tools, power tools, and excavators.
• Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, edging, fertilizing.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including pruning, tree care (trimming and removal), and garden management.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation methods for patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Ability to operate irrigation systems efficiently and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs.
• Understanding of horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape design goals.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with safety awareness to ensure a secure work environment during all phases of installation and maintenance. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
