Duties

• Prepare designated areas by clearing debris and ensuring the ground is ready for mulch installation
• Carefully spread pine straw mulch evenly across landscape beds, ensuring consistent coverage and aesthetic appeal
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely, including rakes, shovels, and other manual tools
• Inspect installed areas for uniformity and quality, making adjustments as needed for a polished look
• Maintain cleanliness of worksite by removing excess materials and debris during and after installation
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet quality standards

Skills

• Ability to operate manual tools such as rakes, shovels, and other landscaping equipment effectively
• Strong attention to detail to ensure even coverage and high-quality installation standards
• Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter or willingness to learn electrical safety checks (nice-to-have)
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing projects on time
