Ideal candidate has at least one year of commercial lawn care experience. As much as we love that you grew up mowing your neighbors lawn...we're hoping for someone a little more experienced. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, mowers, blowers, and edgers to perform lawn care and landscape tasks efficiently.
• Mow lawns, edge borders, prune shrubs, trim trees, and perform general gardening duties to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
• Assist with landscape installation projects including hardscape features like patios and walkways, as well as planting beds and garden layouts.
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency.
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks such as fertilizing, mulching, aerating, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary.
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams for more complex repairs.
• Follow safety protocols when operating machinery like excavators or performing construction-related tasks to ensure a safe work environment.

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous.
• Basic mechanical knowledge helps in maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues effectively.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning enhances your ability to contribute across various projects.
• Experience with irrigation systems or hardscape installation is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for physically demanding tasks is essential. Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
