Job Overview

Greenways Landscape Services is hiring an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team.

We are a stable, established landscape company that has been serving Colorado commercial properties for more than 25 years. This is a good fit for someone who enjoys early mornings, working outside, knows commercial irrigation, can troubleshoot problems, and takes pride in doing quality work.

This is not a management position, but there is room to grow for someone who shows up, works hard, learns the work, and proves themselves in the field.

We try hard to keep our employees working year-round. During the winter season, this position will include snow removal work, depending on weather and business needs.

What You’ll Do

Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial irrigation systems

Inspect irrigation systems and identify leaks, broken heads, valve issues, wiring problems, controller issues, and water coverage problems

Perform routine irrigation maintenance and repairs on commercial properties

Work with controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, lateral lines, mainlines, wiring, and related irrigation components

Use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently

Help prevent water waste, property damage, and landscape stress by making timely repairs

Keep basic records of work completed, parts used, and issues found

Work professionally on commercial job sites

Assist with snow removal during winter months as needed

What We’re Looking For

Commercial irrigation experience required

2+ years of commercial irrigation experience preferred

Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic irrigation issues with limited supervision

Knowledge of controllers, valves, sprinklers, wiring, leaks, and system repairs

Mechanical ability and comfort using tools and small equipment

Experience with commercial landscaping or landscape maintenance is a plus

Ability to read basic irrigation layouts, plans, or diagrams is a plus

Valid driver’s license required

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

WeatherTRAK and ETwater experience is a plus

Dependable, hard-working, and able to show up on time every day. Start times vary based on season.
