We are seeking an experienced Landscape Irrigation Technician to join our team here at Graham Landscape & Design in Eugene, OR.
As a member of our Landscape Irrigation Team, you'll play a vital role in designing, installing, & maintaining irrigation systems for both residential & commercial properties. You'll also have the opportunity to work on low-voltage lighting & water feature design/construction projects.

Responsibilities as a Landscape Irrigation Technician:
- Install irrigation systems, connecting pipes, valves, and sprinklers.
- Install controllers, timers, and sensors for automation.
- Inspect and test systems regularly; diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and broken parts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning filters and replacing parts.
- Upgrade systems for efficiency; install drip lines and rain sensors.
- Reprogram controllers and timers to optimize watering schedules.
- Resolve issues with water pressure, electrical connections, and programming.
- Use diagnostic tools to locate underground leaks and blockages.
- Explain system operations and maintenance to clients.
- Provide recommendations for improving irrigation efficiency.
- Conduct seasonal adjustments like winterizing and spring reactivation.
- Work with landscape designers, project managers, and other team members.
- Maintain documentation, work logs and communicate effectively utilizing Google Suite.
Qualifications for Landscape Irrigation Technician:
- Possession of a valid driver's license & reliable transportation is required.
- Previous experience in landscape irrigation is highly preferred.
- Backflow certification is highly preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Able to work consistently in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
