Landscape laborer

we are hiring a Landscape Laborer performs manual labor to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces by operating tools and machinery to plant, trim, mow, and cultivate vegetation. Key duties include planting flowers, trees, and shrubs; mowing, weeding, and trimming lawns and gardens; spreading mulch and topsoil; and maintaining landscaping equipment. This role requires physical stamina, familiarity with landscaping tools, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities

• Planting and cultivation:Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and sod; cultivating plants to ensure healthy growth.
• Lawn and garden maintenance:Mowing, edging, and trimming turf; weeding gardens; and applying mulch and fertilizer.
• Pruning and trimming:Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their shape and health.
• Site preparation:Digging, spreading, and leveling soil using shovels and rakes for new plantings.
• Equipment operation:Safely operating and maintaining powered equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws.
• Pest and disease control:Applying treatments to control insects and diseases on plants and lawns.
• Waste removal:Cleaning up and removing debris, weeds, and dead plants from landscaped areas.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical stamina:Ability to perform strenuous manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Tool and equipment proficiency:Familiarity with and the ability to operate various hand tools and powered landscaping equipment.
• Plant knowledge:Basic knowledge of plants, horticulture, and proper cultivation techniques.
• Attention to detail:Precision in tasks like trimming and planting to ensure a professional and appealing appearance.
