Landscape Laborer

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep properties vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and other construction activities
• Perform tree care duties including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
• Conduct lawn care routines such as aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons
• Maintain horticultural standards through gardening practices that enhance plant health and landscape appearance
• Support overall site maintenance by performing routine inspections, cleaning tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance, and gardening principles
• Experience operating equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Prior experience in construction or hardscape installation is desirable but not required
