Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision for tasks like digging, planting, or installing hardscape features
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
• Help install irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient watering practices
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and trash to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
• Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with equipment like excavators, power tools, and landscaping machinery

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening practices, or tree care techniques is a plus
• Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or snow plows is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; willingness to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and hardscape installation
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely
