Landscape Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be eager to develop skills in landscape maintenance and construction. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting residential and commercial landscaping, gardening, and hardscape installations.

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy and attractive lawns
• Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and hedge trimming
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators for various landscaping projects
• Maintain equipment through basic upkeep and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Assist with gardening tasks such as soil preparation, planting, and mulching
• Support team members with general maintenance tasks across job sites

Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good teamwork skills and willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction projects
• Clean driving record
