Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Perform lawn care duties like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features such as patios or walkways
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate landscaping machinery and hand tools confidently
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and irrigation system setup
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and planting to support healthy growth
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to safety
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in construction and horticulture
• Basic understanding of maintenance procedures for power tools and landscaping equipment
