Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and be at the forefront of creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you'll assist with a variety of landscaping projects, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscape installation. Your hands-on work will contribute to transforming outdoor environments while gaining valuable experience in horticulture, construction, and equipment operation. Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf and vibrant landscapes
• Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to enhance aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, and installing irrigation systems or hardscape features
• Support construction activities involving the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements
• Conduct tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate equipment such as chainsaws or excavators
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways for clients
• Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and maintaining flower beds for seasonal beauty

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction projects
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
• Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and snow plowing is beneficial but not required
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, hardscape installation, and equipment operation
