Duties

• Assist with landscape construction projects such as renovating residential landscapes, building retaining walls, placing and stamping concrete patios, installing irrigation systems, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, digging, and general site preparation
• Support the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Perform lawn care activities like irrigation system installation or repair
• Help with tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or walk behind loaders
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and excess materials to uphold safety standards

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and hand tools effectively
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Familiarity with landscape construction techniques including hardscape installation and site preparation
• Ability to use power tools such as trimmers, blowers, saws, and excavators safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care procedures, and snow plowing operations is a plus
• Strong understanding of landscaping principles combined with practical skills in gardening and plant health management
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in landscaping and maintenance tasks

Pay: $23.60 - $28.42 per hour
