Responsibilities

Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and laying sod or seed.
Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming trees and bushes, edging beds, and pruning for health and aesthetics.
Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed whackers, blowers, hedge trimmers) safely and effectively.
Use equipment like excavators for larger projects or site preparation under supervision.
Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.

Experience

Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we’re happy to train motivated candidates eager to learn.
Basic mechanical knowledge helps with troubleshooting tools and small equipment repairs.
Familiarity with land maintenance practices such as lawn care, tree trimming, and horticulture is advantageous.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely is essential for daily tasks.
Knowledge of snow plowing techniques will be beneficial during seasonal changes.
