Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems with safety and precision
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and other construction tasks
• Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilizing, overseeding, and snow plowing during seasonal changes
• Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and general tree health assessments using proper techniques
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with landscaping materials, tools, and machinery

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as mowing, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment like excavators is advantageous
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and irrigation systems enhances your effectiveness in the role
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential
