Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
• Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Assist with planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery while ensuring proper horticultural practices.
• Maintain landscape features including hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fire pits.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently for various seasonal projects.
• Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, mulching, and snow removal when needed.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and tools effectively.
• Experience with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with landscaping design principles and horticulture fundamentals.
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and accurately.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, planting, and health assessment.
• Experience working with irrigation systems and hardscape installations.
• Strong understanding of construction processes related to landscape projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina.
