Landscape Maintenance and Mowing

Duties

Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently to keep landscapes well-manicured and healthy
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal
Maintenance of mowers and equipment, such as cleaning, greasing, blade sharpening and oil changes.
Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with seasonal clean-up projects such as leaf removal, debris clearing, and preparing landscapes for different weather conditions

Experience

Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred
Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, and planting.
Familiarity with hand tools (shears, shovels), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and grounds equipment operation is essential
Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus
Understanding of plant identification and horticulture principles to support healthy landscape growth
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality
